Counselling at Heatherwood

The Heatherwood Counselling Centre was established to compliment the work of Heatherwood Farm. Counselling takes place at Heatherwood Cottage, 100 yards from the farm.

A contract for confidential counselling is made with each person according to individual need. Appointments can be booked simply by telephone. Although there is no specific charge for our services we would welcome donations for the upkeep and ongoing work at Heatherwood.

Our Counsellors

We have counsellors whose gifts cover a wide range of counselling skills and who have had experience of many difficulties and problems such as:
Relationship, martial and sexual difficulties; bereavement and loss; depression; addictions; childhood traumas and abuse; divorce and separation; low self esteem; mental, emotional and physical illness; general crisis situations.

Our Counsellors are accredited by The Association of Christian Counsellors.

Heatherwood offers a listening ear. Our trained counsellors provide just the care and support when you need it most.

Acorn Christian Listeners

Heatherwood also offers Acorn Christian Listening and Acorn Christian Listener training. Christian Listeners is a nation-wide project of the Acorn Christian Foundation, whereby people are trained in the skills of active listening.
